"Be Prepared" Lorcana Playmat Design feat. Scar
First mat in a series of villain mats designed to be used with the Lorcana Trading Card Game from Ravensburger. Each features a close up illustrated portrait of a Disney villain, the lyrics for the villains iconic song, and includes a numerical Lore tracker for use in game. These were made for personal use with the game to celebrate my favorite Disney villains and their songs, as the songs are an important element in the card game as well.
The first mat features Scar from The Lion King, known for his song "Be Prepared." The goal with his portrait was to make him evocative, intense, and feel like he is staring deep into the viewer.
